Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYL6B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYL6B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MYL6B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYL6B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC and SKCM are the cancer types where MYL6B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
