Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYL6B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYL6B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MYL6B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYL6B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and CCRCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, COAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where MYL6B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
