Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYL3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MYL3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where MYL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
