Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYH9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYH9 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher MYH9 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYH9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and BLCA show a favorable association.

OV, LIHC, and BLCA are the cancer types where MYH9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
