Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYH3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYH3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MYH3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYH3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and LSCC are the cancer types where MYH3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
