Across TCGA patient cohorts, MYF5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 132 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MYF5-associated genes across cancer lineages are NPM3, TMEM14C, and SDC4. Each is linked with MYF5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MYF5-to-partner and partner-to-MYF5 results are reported.
