Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYEF2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYEF2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher MYEF2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYEF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and OV show a favorable association.
DLBC, UCEC, and OV are the cancer types where MYEF2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
