Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYCT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYCT1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MYCT1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYCT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SKCM, LIHC, and HNSC are the cancer types where MYCT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
