Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYBBP1A RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MYBBP1A data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher MYBBP1A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYBBP1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and READ show a favorable association.

ACC, KIRP, and SCLC are the cancer types where MYBBP1A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
