Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYBBP1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYBBP1A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher MYBBP1A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYBBP1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and LUAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where MYBBP1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
