Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MUTYH Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MUTYH data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher MUTYH Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MUTYH expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and SKCM are the cancer types where MUTYH Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
