Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTRR protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,106 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTRR-associated genes across cancer lineages are MAGI1, ZNF799, and LILRA1. Each is linked with MTRR in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTRR-to-partner and partner-to-MTRR results are reported.
