Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTOR mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 78 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTOR-associated genes across cancer lineages are 4E-BP1, GAPDH, and Caspase-7-cleavedD198. Each is linked with MTOR in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTOR-to-partner and partner-to-MTOR results are reported.
