Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTNR1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MTNR1B data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher MTNR1B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTNR1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

UVM, DLBC, and ESCA are the cancer types where MTNR1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
