Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND5P33 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND5P33 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher MTND5P33 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND5P33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and BRCA show a favorable association.

OV, KICH, and PAAD are the cancer types where MTND5P33 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
