Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND5P21 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND5P21 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MTND5P21 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND5P21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and STAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, KICH, and THYM are the cancer types where MTND5P21 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
