MTND4P8

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND4P8 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MTND4P8’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where MTND4P8 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MTND4P8 is over-expressed in tumor.

STAD are the cancer types where MTND4P8 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
