Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND4LP26 RNA is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND4LP26 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MTND4LP26 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND4LP26 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, KIRP, and STAD are the cancer types where MTND4LP26 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
