Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND3P9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND3P9 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MTND3P9 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND3P9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, ESCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where MTND3P9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
