Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND3P10 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MTND3P10’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where MTND3P10 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MTND3P10 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, READ, and COAD are the cancer types where MTND3P10 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
