Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND2P29 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MTND2P29’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where MTND2P29 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MTND2P29 is over-expressed in tumor.
COAD, KICH, and THCA are the cancer types where MTND2P29 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
