Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTMR9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MTMR9 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MTMR9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTMR9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where MTMR9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
