Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTHFR protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,601 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MTHFR-associated genes across cancer lineages are RPS6KA1, TSEN15, and ADAD2. Each is linked with MTHFR in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTHFR-to-partner and partner-to-MTHFR results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MTHFR versus RPS6KA1 in COAD, with a Pearson correlation of 0.63.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MTHFR→partner) and Y-score (partner→MTHFR) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
