Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTHFR mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,833 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MTHFR-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR1915, PLGRKT, and RAC2. Each is linked with MTHFR in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTHFR-to-partner and partner-to-MTHFR results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MIR1915 grouped by MTHFR-low versus MTHFR-high in BRCA.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MTHFR→partner) and Y-score (partner→MTHFR) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
