Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA cell cohorts, MTHFR mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 86 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MTHFR-associated genes across cancer lineages are OR13D1, MBD3L3, and IL22. Each is linked with MTHFR in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTHFR-to-partner and partner-to-MTHFR results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, OR13D1 grouped by MTHFR-low versus MTHFR-high in BLOOD_Leukemia.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MTHFR→partner) and Y-score (partner→MTHFR) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
