Across TCGA cell cohorts, MTHFD2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,329 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTHFD2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Formate biosynthetic process, Serine family amino acid biosynthetic process, and L-alanine catabolic process. Each is linked with MTHFD2 in more than 17 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTHFD2-to-partner and partner-to-MTHFD2 results are reported.
