Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTFMT mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 227 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MTFMT-associated genes across cancer lineages are TAAR5, RPL31P40, and SEPTIN7P4. Each is linked with MTFMT in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTFMT-to-partner and partner-to-MTFMT results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, TAAR5 grouped by MTFMT-low versus MTFMT-high in SKCM.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MTFMT→partner) and Y-score (partner→MTFMT) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
