Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTERF4 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 5 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTERF4-associated genes across cancer lineages are Notch1, VHL, and Tuberin. Each is linked with MTERF4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTERF4-to-partner and partner-to-MTERF4 results are reported.
