MTERF2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTERF2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 23 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTERF2-associated genes across cancer lineages are eEF2, EGFR_pY1068, and ERK2. Each is linked with MTERF2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTERF2-to-partner and partner-to-MTERF2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, eEF2 grouped by MTERF2-low versus MTERF2-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MTERF2→partner) and Y-score (partner→MTERF2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
