Across TCGA cell cohorts, MTERF1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,883 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTERF1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Mitochondrial RNA metabolic process, Replication fork processing, and DNA-templated DNA replication maintenance of fidelity. Each is linked with MTERF1 in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTERF1-to-partner and partner-to-MTERF1 results are reported.
