Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTDH mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 42 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTDH-associated genes across cancer lineages are Akt_pT308, PRAS40_pT246, and Caspase-7-cleavedD198. Each is linked with MTDH in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTDH-to-partner and partner-to-MTDH results are reported.
