Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCYBP38 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCYBP38 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher MTCYBP38 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCYBP38 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and LUAD show a favorable association.
UCS, BRCA, and ESCA are the cancer types where MTCYBP38 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
