Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCO3P7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCO3P7 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher MTCO3P7 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCO3P7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and STAD show a favorable association.

LGG, LUSC, and ESCA are the cancer types where MTCO3P7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
