Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCO2P4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCO2P4 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher MTCO2P4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCO2P4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

THCA, BLCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where MTCO2P4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
