Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCO2P31 RNA is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCO2P31 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher MTCO2P31 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCO2P31 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

STAD, KIRC, and LIHC are the cancer types where MTCO2P31 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
