Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCO2P29 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCO2P29 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher MTCO2P29 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCO2P29 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and PRAD show a favorable association.

THCA, DLBC, and ACC are the cancer types where MTCO2P29 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
