Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCO1P47 RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCO1P47 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher MTCO1P47 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCO1P47 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and UCS show a favorable association.
CHOL, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where MTCO1P47 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
