Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCO1P35 RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCO1P35 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MTCO1P35 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCO1P35 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.

BLCA, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where MTCO1P35 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
