Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCO1P18 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCO1P18 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher MTCO1P18 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCO1P18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and KIRP show a favorable association.

UCS, ACC, and CHOL are the cancer types where MTCO1P18 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
