Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCH1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MTCH1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher MTCH1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCH1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THYM, KIRC, and LUAD are the cancer types where MTCH1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
