Across TCGA cell cohorts, MTBP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 174 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTBP-associated genes across cancer lineages are MTRNR2L10, MTRNR2L6, and TFAP2D. Each is linked with MTBP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTBP-to-partner and partner-to-MTBP results are reported.
