Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTARC1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MTARC1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MTARC1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTARC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where MTARC1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
