Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTA3P1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTA3P1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher MTA3P1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTA3P1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and ESCA show a favorable association.

KIRP, UCS, and ESCA are the cancer types where MTA3P1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
