Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTA3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MTA3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MTA3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTA3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and COAD are the cancer types where MTA3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
