Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTA1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 17 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTA1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PI3K-p85, p62 Lck ligand, and PDCD4. Each is linked with MTA1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTA1-to-partner and partner-to-MTA1 results are reported.
