Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT1HL1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MT1HL1 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher MT1HL1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT1HL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
CHOL, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where MT1HL1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
