Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT1HL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MT1HL1 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MT1HL1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT1HL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where MT1HL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
