Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT1E Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MT1E data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MT1E Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT1E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA are the cancer types where MT1E Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
