Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT1CP RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MT1CP data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher MT1CP RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT1CP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SARC and MESO show a favorable association.
THYM, HNSC, and ACC are the cancer types where MT1CP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
