Across TCGA cell cohorts, MT-ND4 RNA expression is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,182 significant associations in total. UPPER_AERODIGESTIVE_TRACT shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MT-ND4-associated genes across cancer lineages are MT-ND1, MT-ATP6, and MT-ND4L. Each is linked with MT-ND4 in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MT-ND4-to-partner and partner-to-MT-ND4 results are reported.
